On Last Minute Ideas - A Review
Hi.
I messed up and didn't write a blog for today. But I've got plans! My brother is here.
We're going to all the touristy spots today. He's kind of my guinea pig for entertaining across Brooklyn and Manhattan. I'm not into most things that draw a crowd. But, I can always find a way to enjoy myself. Don't get me wrong. It's not like it's hard to have fun at these places, I'm no martyr for enjoyment.
For whatever reason, whenever I am with my family doing touristy things I get 2000s pop songs stuck in my head.
Today it's James Blunt's “You're Beautiful,” when I was with my mom it was Coldplay, but I was singing in the stylings of Nickelback. I don't know why I'm like this.
I'm currently on 5th Ave. We just spent the morning in Central Park and the Central Park zoo (which is underrated).
We don't really have much of a plan. But we do have a scaffolding of what we're going to do. Which is how I prefer to do vacations. But I don't like to… exert that will on someone else.
If you want to build an itinerary, I'll follow it to a tee. T? Tea? Tee.
But thinking about how we're going to spend this week really let me think about how I personally like to spend my leisure time. And I came to the conclusion I really don't have a standard. I think that's okay. But it probably is why I'm generally less interested in doing stuff. Not because I don't want to leave the house, but more so because I'm not motivated to find something to do. That sounds lazy. And maybe it is. But, it's just who I am.
We will see how long that lasts
Thanks for reading, and have a great rest of your week.
